Kvelling in the Kitchen

As I enjoy being back in school, working on an MA in Children’s Literature at Simmons University, I have decided to launch a book project!

For this project I am creating a collection of recipes of Jewish foods, and foods eaten in Jewish contexts (e.g., Shabbat, Holidays, Family Gatherings) that grandparents and grandchildren could use together. While there are many Jewish cookbooks in print, I have not yet seen Jewish cookbooks specifically designed to be used by grandparents who are preparing these recipes with their grandchildren. I do have a number of my own favorites.

My mission is to expand this collection. I would love to include your favorites. And, if you are so inclined, please include a note about where your recipe came from, a photo of the chefs creating the recipe or a photo of the finished product.
